Here is a quick overview of this year’s program :
Mary Ludgin with Heitman will lead off with a national overview of real estate trends. We will present overviews and discussion panels on the four major property types – office, retail, multi-family and industrial. Special discussion panels on Corporate Real Estate, Sustainability, Hospitals/Medical Facilities, and Special Servicers will also be featured. We are proud to have return as our Keynote Speaker Tom Hoenig, President of the Federal Bank Reserve of Kansas City. And the program finale will consist of a special Kansas City Mayoral Candidacy Forum, where the current candidates will share their vision of the future of commercial real estate and development in Kansas City. This exclusive forum will be moderated by Steve Kraske.

Continuing Education Credits
This program is designed to provide an analysis of trends in the national and local real estate markets with an emphasis on unique opportunities in 2011.  We have applied for continuing education credits with the real estate commission and the real estate appraisal board – in both Kansas and Missouri. We have also applied for and received CM approval for continuing educations credits for all APA and AICP licensed members.

  1. Real Estate Salespersons/Brokers:
    Missouri Real Estate Commission – 6 approved
    Kansas Real Estate Board – 6 approved
  2. Appraisers:
    Missouri Real Estate Appraisal Commission – 7 hours pending approval
    Kansas Real Estate Appraisal Board – 7 hours pending approval
    Appraisal Institute – submit completion certificate with course log
  3. Planners & Planning Commissioners:
    American Planning Association – 7 hours approved

***Engineers, Insurance Agents, Accountants, Attorneys, etc. – certificates of completion will be distributed noting the hours of the course. It will be your responsibility to submit this certificate to your licensing agency for credit approval.
